Top 10 Famous People of All Times

According to the “The 100: A Ranking of the Most Influential Persons in History”, a book written by Michael H. Hart in 1978, below is the list of top 10 famous people of all times:

Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.)

Prophet Muhammad (P.B.U.H.), also known as the founder of Islam religion, was born on 26 April 570. He (P.B.U.H) is recognized as the most influential or famous human being in the history of mankind. All Muslims believe that Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) is the prophet and messenger of ALLAH. Muslims also believe that Muhammad (P.B.U.H.) is the last prophet of the series of prophets in Islam. The Quran (Holy book of Muslims which is narrated as the book of ALLAH) also said about Muhammad (P.B.U.H.)  as the last prophet.

Isaac Newton

Isaac Newton is believed on No. 2 position in the list of top 10 famous people of all times. This notable scientist was born on December 25, 1642. Some believe that his date of birth was January 4, 1643. Though the year of his death is same i.e. 1727 but the date is also controversial. Some say he died on March 20, 1727 but others say on 31th March 1727. Sir Isaac Newton was a notable alchemist, astronomer, mathematician, natural philosopher, theologian and physicist.

Jesus Christ

Jesus Christ is believed by Michael H. Hart as the third most influential or famous person in the history. He was born somewhere, between 7 to 2 BC and lived till 30 to 36 AD. Mostly he is called as Christ or Jesus only. Jesus Christ is recognized as the main person or central figure of the Christianity. Muslims believe that Jesus Christ is also the prophet of ALLAH who is the part of Islamic prophet series.

Buddha

Buddha is on the forth position in the list of top 10 famous people of all times. Buddha was born on 563 BCE probably in Lumbini (a place which is the part of Nepal at the moment). It is believed that Buddha lived for around 80 years and died in 483 BCE, somewhere in Kushinagar, Uttar Pradesh, India. Buddha is believed as the central figure of Buddhism. Buddhists believe that the discourses and accounts of his life were summarized by his followers after his death.

Confucius

Confucius, who is also known as Master Kong, Kung-tzu or Kongzi in Chinese, is widely recognized as the notable Chinese teacher, social philosopher, politician and editor. He is also recognized as the author or writer of multiple Chinese classic texts in which all currently known Five Classics are also included. The teachings of Confucius have been compiled in a book called “Analects”.

Saint Paul or Paul the Apostle

Saint Paul, who is also known as Paul the Apostle, Apostle Paul or Saul of Tarsus, is widely recognized as the most influential or famous missionary during early Christian missionary era. Saint Paul is recognized as the most prominent leaders during early Christian era along with James the Just and Simon Peter. There are around fourteen epistles that have been attributed to Saint Paul in the New Testament. Modern scholars have questioned seven out of all fourteen authorships of Paul.

CaiLun

CaiLun, who is also known as T’saiLun in traditional Chinese language, is widely recognized as the Chinese eunuch. He is also known with the courtesy name i.e. Jingzhong. The history of mankind believes about CaiLun that he was the person who invented papermaking process as well as paper in modern form. Though paper was in-use in China even before CaiLun but he actually standardized and improved the process of papermaking by adding some necessary materials.

Johannes Gutenberg

Johannes Gutenberg, who is recognized as a notable German goldsmith, blacksmith, publisher and printer, was born in 1398 (month and date is not known) and died on 3rd February 1468. Gutenberg was the person who brought printing industry into the knowledge of European people. Printing Revolution started in Europe after this man invented mechanical movable type printing process. This revolution is considered as the most important event in European history of modern period.

Christopher Columbus

Christopher Columbus, the great explorer of all times, is widely known as the top-ranking colonizer, navigator and explorer of the world. Columbus was born in 1451 on October 31 in Republic of Genoa. He lived for 55 years and died on May 20, 1506. Columbus completed minimum four journeys across the Atlantic Ocean. His last journey was to invent a new direction to reach India but he unknowingly invented American continents.

Albert Einstein Famous People

Albert Einstein, a well-popular theoretical physicist of the history, is on the 10th position of the list of top 10 famous people of all times. Einstein, a German genius, was born on March 14, 1879. Einstein got popularity for his development of the general relativity theory which is recognized as a revolutionary point in physics. He is unanimously recognized as the father or founder of current or modern physics, just because of this theory.

      that’s in your country but beleive me some poeple around the world doesn’t even know what christianty is…..Not the whole world is christian darling….and yes there are old ilatrate ppl who doesn’t know about him.

    you added a headline that makes people want more? I mean Top 10 Famous People of All Times | is kinda boring.
    You could glance at Yahoo’s front page and watch how they write news titles to get people to
    click. You might add a related video or a related picture
    or two to get people excited about everything’ve got to say.
    Just my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.
